Roseann Bennett is a well-known therapist specializing in both family and marriage counseling for over a decade. Bennett helps with planning treatments, individual case management, and crisis plans. She often focuses on working with teenagers, particularly those who are having trouble relating to their families.
Bennett established the Center for Assessment and Treatment in 2009 and opened the doors to the company in 2010. This treatment focuses on helping families from all backgrounds but focuses on marginalized communities. People who would not normally be able to seek care are able to get proper help and treatment in her office.
Unlike some therapists that deal with the family dynamic and communication, Roseann Bennett is heavily focused on solving the problem in a holistic sense. She looks at not only the underlying causes, but all variable that may be hurting the dynamic of the patient, and assess them for treatment.
This center has struggled for funding in the past few years. In fact, Bennett herself was funding it out of pocket for a while. It was uncertain if the center would prevail. Although it has faced many challenges, the center and its’ patients have continued to pull through.
Roseann Bennett says that her passion for this work lies in the connections that she makes with her patients. Because of her hard work and dedication for her center, she was named a Woman of Note by the Wall Street Journal, and recognized by many other establishments.
Bennett is more than qualified for this job. Her education started with a Masters in Psychological Studies from Seton Hall University. She graduated from Seton in 1998. She then got her Specialist in Education degree in Marriage in Family Therapy from the same school two years later. Get More Information Here.
